Review:

If you often finish up your ride and feel fatigue or tingling in your hands or wrists, this might be the product for you. Ergon makes ergonomically correct hand grips for bikes. They have several models to choose from, including some with integrated bar ends for those interested in bar ends.

One of the pieces of advice that someone recommended for me was to buy the women's grips because the men's models are larger and it is more difficult to get your hand all of the way around them. Using the women's grips were actually more comfortable for me on long rocky downhills because I felt that I had a better grip on the bars.

Initially they come with a diamond-shaped pattern that improves the grip, however, this tends to wear off quickly. however, even with the grip surface worn off it still manages to give you a very "grippy" surface.

Over time I have noticed cuts in the grips, probably from collisions with branches or the ground. However, after more than a year none of the cuts is deep enough to merit switching out to a newer set

In the height of the summer (one of the hottest ever) the Ergons retained their grip, despite gloves that were soaked through with sweat.

Verdict:

Score: A- I found these grips to be outstanding and even though are showing significant signs of wear, they continued to provide a great level of performance. I would definitely purchase another pair in the future.
